Sai Seva UK is currently working towards securing a permanent home and temple for Shirdi Sai Baba in Slough, so that Baba can continue to provide spiritual nourishment to residents of the Slough Borough.

This is our long term goal and, with this in mind, we are encouraging Baba’s devotees and volunteers to register with us and to maintain a DIY Hundi (a virtual/electronic or physical donation pot) where they regularly offer what they wish in their hearts to offer, just as they would in the physical temple when it becomes a reality.

The idea behind this is, not only to exercise the ‘giving gene’ that Shirdi Sai Baba used to practice with His devotees in Shirdi, via the method of Dakshina (donation or charity) to teach His devotees the practice of non-attachment to the physical and material elements of this world, but also to ensure that the funds are still being collected while we undertake the necessary processes of due diligence, whilst we work towards achieving our goal.

Once we identify a suitable “sthaan” (place), we can call upon these donations and put them to good use immediately.

If you cannot get to Langley College on Thursday evenings for Darshan, please consider this method to enable you to still donate what you wish in your heart to give.
